COVID-19 2022 – CEO’s Statement
This is a time when so much we take for granted in our daily lives has changed dramatically. Yet, we continue to be distressed by the swift onslaught of COVID-19, saddened by the isolation and loss of loved ones and, troubled by the social and economic effects on our nation. As COVID-19 continues to evolve, our focus and commitment remain on the health and safety of our employees, clients, and the communities we work within. We are constantly evaluating the COVID-19 impact and monitoring available information from our local health authorities and WHO. Our responsibilities as an organization have never been more critical. We understand that we have to operate within the restrictions set by the authorities. Beyond these requirements, our immediate focus has been on how best to support our employees' health and economic well-being. We actively listen and respond to our employees' concerns since they are on the frontlines and are valuable in identifying health and safety gaps and other workplace issues. We remain responsive to the needs of our clients as the situation evolves within the overall health and legal restrictions. We will continue to collaborate to get the work done. We will also work together to align on and rollout Return to Work protocols. During this time of uncertainty, we are doing everything we can to support individuals and families adversely impacted by COVID-19. But, if ever there was a time to activate corporate social responsibility, that time is now. Lastly, we're all in this together, learning together, adapting together and caring for each other. To quote Maya Angelou (writer and civil rights activist) - "courage is the most important virtue because, without it, no other virtue can be practised consistently..." Thank you for your business, your friendship, and your trust.
